Summary: I have a very similar but different Samsung model. It also has ice maker and water dispenser. For about 7 months it was working flawlessly and now we are running to ice maker problem. This problem had already occurred twice. For some reason, Ice maker makes loud knocking sound.
Summary: We bought this fridge in 2011. Looked great. Thought for the price we were buying a quality product. Boy were we wrong. First off the filter for this fridge is $45! Next, I didn't think I'd need it, but I bought the extended warranty from Lowe's.

Summary: Absolute worst consumer device I have ever purchased. I purchased a slightly older model RS265TDRS/XAA 12 months and 15 days ago. Nine months it stopped working and the circuit board had to be replaced. That process takes about 20 days. A week later the sensors fail. They replace it.

Summary: This refrigerator has not stood up to normal use. * Icemaker is problematic even when it works properly - jams a lot, doesn't follow crushed/cube directions. * Icemaker stopped working properly 2 years into ownership. * Two of the door shelves have broken already - they are expensive to replace.
Cons so outweigh the pros, that pros aren't even worth mentioning. Keep shopping. Don't buy this one.

Summary: It does everything well except for the ice which is a disaster to the extent that I can't even believe this has been on the market at all and sold to people. There are plenty of reviews here about how bad the ice is, so read them.

Summary: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Be very cautious about buying a Samsung appliance. The customer service SUCKS. The ice maker went out on my refrigerator after just 10 months and although the Samsung 800 number said it was covered under warranty, the repair service told me it was not and wanted $150 UP FRONT...
Summary: We've had this refrigerator for about 3 years. It has performed well and we haven't experienced the problems others have had. The ice maker performs well. It has jammed once or twice, but was easily fixed. The filtered water tastes great.

Summary: Do Not Buy SAMSUNG they do not stand behind their product! The surface of both stainless steel doors started to rust in less than 6 months. It started with small pits all over the outside of both doors and continued to grow.
