Summary: I bought this refrigerator about a year and a half ago and The first thing to go was the icemaker every time you got ice out of the dispenser it would continue making a clicking sound that wasn't too bothersome as it would stop after about five minutes. However at about a little over the year and a half the refrigerator started to make a funny noise after day the temperature in the refrigerator went up and all my food was lost.
Summary: Owned for 6 months, it has been repaired once after it stopped cooling, and now it is down again with the exact same problem. Obviously a problem fridge but also ineffective repair and support.
This refer is the most expensive piece of garbage I have ever purchased

Summary: This refer is the most expensive piece of garbage I have ever purchased. The ice maker has a mind of it's own giving crushed and cubed at will. Now it doesn't make ice at all(after a year) and I'm back to buying bags of ice from the store. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! Save your money for a better rated refer.
Summary: My freezer freezes up and the fan starts making a lot of noise from hitting the ice that is accumulated. We have to unplug it and take a hair dryer to the back of the inside to all the vent holes. After about an hour of thawing it finally quits making noise. We had a repair guy out after a few times and there was a sheet of plastic in the back covering up the vent holes. Cost $100 to find that out. Thought our problems were over with but it did it again today.
Summary: Bought last September, 2 support calls and a service call to my home. Already needs a filter and it's only used for ice in drinks and maybe a glass of water here and there, (there's only 2 of us in the house). Haven't had the ice issue others have had (yet) but the water dispenser design is flawed. Angled in wards rather than straight down and the actuator is too close to the nozzle which requires a very SLOW release of your glass in order not to have it drip/leak.
DO NOT RECOMMEND - UNRELIABLE AND EXPENSIVE ICE CUBES

Summary: I bought TWO of these refrigerators. The first was for myself, in California. I bought the slimmer model for my house on the west coast; the other was for the east coast. Since we had already bought Samsung products previously, (three TVs as of 2005), I BLINDLY purchased a laundry washer, a Samsung clothes dryer; then a Samsung refrigerator; then a Samsung range. Then, in December of 2013, I purchased a Samsung unlocked Android.
Brand new but has water leak & no support from Samsung Canada!

Summary: We bought this fridge May 25 2014 together with a new Samsung washer, drier, & dishwasher. We picked up the fridge from Future Shop May 27 2014. We were thrilled to have this fridge to replace our old side by side. It was on sale at Future Shop in Duncan. Once home, & we connected and double checked all the water connections. It flooded my kitchen because of the water leak from the water solenoid valve housing.
Summary: Bought the fridge from Lowe's 7/28/13. Started to hear noise from the fan 4 months later. Then the fridge stopped working a month ago - temperature is getting up while temp reading showed 32F as setting. Called up Samsung and un-plugged to reset as suggested. The temp indicator was then back to "normal" - 56F instead of 32F set temp. Called up service and it turned out the fan motor is completely dead - only 9 months after the manufactured date. Unbelievable.
Summary: I have a Samsung Refrigerator which is just over 5 yrs old and needed to be repaired out of warranty. The freezer door on the actual refrigerator never really closed properly as I always had to give it an extra push to make it seal properly. After a while the problem seemed to get worse as the door at times would reamin slightly open causing food spoilage and high electric bills. I will admit I am getting older as I am a retired on a fixed income and age is settling in.
