Summary: Heed my warning.. AVOID THIS CRAP! While it worked it was noisy with loud clicks. when the compressor is on it vibrates like crazy. After a few years it just died. I've been buying fridges for years and the only ones that failed were Magic Craps. Brands like GE and Frigidaire have lasted over 10 years and still going. You aren't going to get that from a Magic Crap.
Summary: I've had this fridge for 3 years and it's still doing its work. I've done mini-fridges for awhile and from my experience, if you don't overwork the compressor meaning set the freezer level high (you might as well get a standard refrigerator), you won't have the noise problem or have it die on you prematurely.
Summary: Had unit about nine months. Very noisy, but I'm hard of hearing. Then it started cutting on and off with the compressor overload switch. After reading others' service problems, I know I don't have the patience to try and get it repaired. Maybe I can use the cabinet to store paint in. Otherwise, I threw away $149.00 for junk. And where I live it has to have the gas removed before the county will accept it.
Summary: Please do not buy buy. Don't waste your good earn dollars on a magic chef.you gonna regret it .you will be sad.the mcappliances customer service is horrible and annoying. They do not care about you. Life is hard enough you don't wanna pay money for extra problems in your life . Say no to magic chef.
Summary: As other reviewers have noted, this refrigerator has a very short lifespan. My particular unit stopped working about 5 years in. From what I can tell, the compressor is dead - when plugged in it makes a clicking sound every couple minutes, but there is no other sound and no cooling.
Summary: I bought the fridge to put my green tea in. and it has lots of room, i took one rack out so i could get more bottles in it, and it gets cold fast, i think its great, and dont take up much space.
