Do not purchase

  • Summary: This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble. The ice dumps out of the ice tray when you pull the drawer out. The freezer frosts up, close 1 side fench door and the other opens about an inch just enough not to sound the alarm. The water feed on the back of the refer has sprung leaks 4 times, now I have about a 3" lead coming out the back because I keep having to cut the line up further.

Poor quality

  • Summary: Looks good, but once you start using it you reilize qiuckly that you made av huge mistake. Pretty much everything is made of plastic and those things never stop breaking. That's all good if the price on those little plastic things would have been realistic. Once you call LG replacement parts and they give you a price you'd be asking yourself if that little plastic is made out of gold.

worst purchase ever

fridge failure, AJ Madison
22 July 2009
  • Summary: Multiple freezer repairs. Poor design lets condensation collect above the compartment preventing exhaust fan from working. Freezer compartment doesn't seal properly. Upper door latch broke. Waterline leaks (2) damaged diningroom hardwood. Board operating inside light malfunctioned, so light stays on when door is closed. Repair required replacement of light fixture and computer board. If you see this fridge, run don't hide.

Very pleased with everything

  • Summary: We switched from a 25 cu ft side by side to the LG 22.4 cu ft french door unit. I was concerned tht there would not be enough room in the new unit, but because of the space limation it was the only unit that would fit. I could not beleive how much more room it appears to have in this unit. The side by side was hard to get a stuff, and hard for large items to fit.not a problem with this unit.[...
