Summary: I bought this product about two years ago, maybe three, and as of today it's dead. The compressor has gone out and it is not cost effective to repair. Not worth the money and I guess it's a good thing this model was discontinued. I've never heard of a refrigerator going out in this short amount of time.

Summary: If you want your appliance to provide usable ice this is not the refrigerator for you. After about 6 months the we noticed the ice had a bad smell and a foul taste. I called LG to find out how to change the filter and found out it does not have a filter. I now have to buy bagged ice.
Summary: 1. Door open alarm sounds when doors fully open, but does NOT sound if a door is "closed", but not latched, allowing air leakage. 2. With temp set at 37, food against back wall freezes. 3. With temp set at 37, some food in drawer above freezer freezes. 4. IMPOSSIBLE to keep "stainless steel" surfaces clean.
Summary: I have had this refrigerator for about 2.5 years now. It was great until just recently... the rubber seal between the doors has frayed on one side causing the doors to fail to close completely. One must check to make sure they are closed every single time one attempts to shut one or both of them. They almost never close all the way now unless they are both opened and closed together, carefully.
Summary: The door alarm is unnecessary and irritating. The ice bin should be larger and more accessable in the lower drawer. This should lower the incidence of frost build up, due to the time it takes to get the ice from the top drawer. The upper ice drawer sticks and easily freezes shut. The cubes are too small and melt quicker. This model doesn't allow changing cube size as others do.
Summary: The frost build-up in the freezer draw has made the unit unusable. We don't run the air-conditioning, so it's humid inside our home. The unit seems to be designed to work best in a dry environment, as it was in the spring when we bought it. When you open the freezer draw, the cold air immediately leaks out from the top and FROM THE BOTTOM, in a cross-ventilation.
