Summary: Could not be happier with this refrigerator. Looks gorgeous, high amount of usable space, quiet. A very big deal is Kitchenaid includes a 10 year warranty on the sealed unit components (compressor, evaporator, lines). Everyone else only offers 1 year. If those parts fail on another brand after 1 year you might as well buy a new refrigerator since the repair will be very expensive. Kitchenaid costs a little more, however, you get more.
Pros: High quality, Durable, 10 yr warranty, stylish, quiet
Summary: "I'm a do-it-yourselfer. My wife and I did some research locally and on-line and decided that KitchAid Architect Series II would give us the most bang for the buck. Our biggest worry was shipping but it arrived in good shape and the delivery driver was extremely helpful. We had no trouble installing it and it is working beautifully so far. The only quibble we have is that the doors are not vertically aligned.
Summary: I am very happy with this refrigerator. I love the water/ice feature. It has a lot of room for a smaller unit. It looks really nice and is easy to maintain. So far, I really love it and have owned it for about 8 months.
Summary: "We've only had this fridge for a month so far, but we are very pleased so far. It seems to be built well and seems well designed. The ice cube maker and water dispenser work well and get a lot of use. The inside shelves, both in the door and in the main space, seem sturdy and well built. Also seems to run quietly. So far, no complaints.
Summary: This was installed 7-16-11 and is worth ever penny. It is QUIET! Has adjustable shelves and door bins on the ref. side. The food on the ref. side stays cold and the food on the freezer side stays frozen.
Summary: Was very satisfied until icemaker went out. First could not lift bin to empty ice until running motor from outside to get crushed ice out of door which was understandable. Then motor quit and would not work even after emptying out bin by hand and clearing all ice out. Bin would not lift out. Would certainly not reccommend unless you want to buy a new ice maker/refrigerator every 6 months.
