Summary: The fridge shown in picture is black with door handles. Mine came without handles! If fridge was going to be sold without door handles, I think it should be advertised as such... I am very disappointed. Now I have to shop for door handles and I don't know where to start. Hernan.
Summary: DO not buy this if you are looking for a counter top depth refrigerator that can be installed to be flush with your counter top. The hinges do not allow for this... Why anyone would pay the additional for a counter top depth ref that can not be installed at counter top depth?
Summary: This panel ready refrigerator has to stick out far beyond your adjacent panels and cabinets in order for the door to open properly. If you are going for a built-in type look, do not buy this refrigerator. It will disappoint you.
Works well, attractive. Be careful: you'll see the black edges of the doors, even with the panels installed.

Summary: This is a great fridge! It blends in nicely with our custom cherry kitchen, and it looks elegant. In my kitchen, because the fridge is not immediately adjacent to anything on one side (it abuts a countertop on just one side), you don't notice that it protrudes beyond counter depth.
Summary: I like the refrigerator, but with wood panels on it, I notice the 1 inch space between the upper doors and the freezer door and the misalignment such that the freezer sticks out 1/2 inch. In fact, the unit sticks out almost 4 inches more than the surrounding cabinets. Not well designed.
Summary: If you want your fridge to look built in and/or counter depth...DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE! It has to stick out really far in order for the doors to open properly. Also note the cabinet is black. I have white panels & was told the fridge would stick out a little which I was going to be ok with.
Summary: We certainly have no complaints about the looks or features of this Kitchenaid refrigerator, but we are miserable with the noise it makes. It emits a loud, high pitched ringing sound whenever the compressor is running, which is at least 20 minutes per hour. The sound can be heard two rooms over.
