A decent size for a decent price

wazza115, Dooyoo
24 August 2014
  • Excerpt: The capacity is 127litres which when I compare with the fridge I have now, is actually bigger. The dimensions are 84cm x 55cm x 58cm and fitted nicely under my counter in the space of a standard base unit.
  • Pros: "Did its job", "Long lasting", "Excellent price"
  • Cons: None

An excellent medium sized larder fridge

  • Excerpt: When our already fairly large existing fridge kept getting overful we decided it would be a good plan to get a second, smaller, one to keep the extra in. I should say that this is because we live in the middle of nowhere, and so don't go shopping all that often, and thus tend to buy in bulk.

Hotpoint RLAV21 Compact Fridge Review

Catherine Dawes, Unbeatable
3 May 2012
  • Excerpt: July 2010. Just purchased this for our works kitchen. The light is ridiculously placed so that it only lights up just the top of the door when opened. The inside of the fridge remains in gloom. Would never have bought it had we known.
  • Cons: Poorly positioned light

A good fridge that holds a lot but the light lets it down

  • Excerpt: When I bought this house in 2007 I brought my freezer with me, but had to buy a fridge as the flat I was selling had it built in. Now a fridge is something I cannot live without but in normal circumstances I might still have researched and shopped around and taken my time to make a purchase I would...

If you don't mind the internal light problem, this is a really great fridge!

  • Excerpt: @ About @ (+) I bought this fridge 3 years ago, and the whole reason I bought this particular fridge, was because of its A energy rating. I have a home energy monitor and right now it's only using about 147KWh per year, pretty good for a fridge so less wattage means lower bills.

excellent value for money

  • Excerpt: I have this fridge now for two years and have been very happy with it. It barely makes a noise and also does not freeze any items that are against the back of the fridge (many do seem to do this) and I have not ever had to defrost it as it simply does not seem to attract that much condensation but...

20 February 2009
  • Summary: Very bad quality. Could not be repaired. As we used it in an office, there was no warranty and they felt that there was no moral grounds for doing anything about it. Everyone I have spoken to agrees that this should not happen to a three month old fridge.
  • Pros: It looks like a good quality fridge - it had very good storage space to keep the office milk in and a few sandwiches.
  • Cons: The fridge stopped keeping things cool after three months. The engineer came out and reported an internal gas leak and wet wall blown so it was not repairable.

Many batches of this fridge break, you may be lucky you may not

psycho-wolfie, Dooyoo
5 November 2008
  • Excerpt: I bough this fridge for the good features it advertised and seemed to contain in he shop: small and compact, energy A rated so cheap to run, good shelf layout, door opened either way, came with butter dish egg tray, bottle holder and vegetable crisper.
