Summary: When my home burned, I had to move back in with mom for awhile. My sister and her kids live there also, so after the 3rd time I tried fixing breakfast and discovered someone had drank all my milk and juice, I decided to get a compact fridge to keep in my room. Did a lot of research and found the Frigidaire 2.5 cubic foot compact refrigerator at Lowes for $129. It is super quiet - I never hear it.
Summary: This little fridge is exactly what I wanted. It holds soft drinks, bottled water, a small box of wine - with room left over. I LOVE the adjustable glass shelves. Yes, the little freezer is small but it seems to work every bit as good as a 'big' freezer. I'm going to use it to keep a zip lock baggie of ice so I can have an iced water in the middle of the night without waking everyone else in the house.
Summary: This is an awesome fridge! I got it when I had trouble with people stealing things from the communal kitchen where I live. It's compact, super quiet, keeps your food really cold (I have it set at 4/6 for it's level of cold), and it looks pretty cool. It sits at the end of my bed, and I never even notice it when I'm going to bed. I have trouble going to bed unless things are really quiet, so I was pleasantly surprised by it's low noise output.
Summary: I got this for my son who is in college. He shares an apartment with 3 other guys who like to help themselves to other people's things and this is small enough to fit into his lockable room. He is very happy with the performance and it should last a good many years.
