LOVE the FP fridge
23 June 2010
Excerpt: We got our Fisher Paykel about two months ago and still get a little giggle out of it every time we open the door. The space configuration/industrial design inside is freakishly cool: Everything fits with room to spare. In fact, we took everything out of our tired, overcrowder old fridge and put it in the FP and had three empty shelves for a couple of weeks. And if that weren't cool enough it's counter depth and quiet as a whisper when it cycles on.
Pros: Extremely good use of space, very quiet, counter depth.
Summary: Purchased because "it fit the opening" available in our remodeled family cottage. The frig met expectations and more; always good to get more than expected. Layout and engineering throughout is great! Small features like ice drawer and integrated wine rack are just super. The unit is quiet, efficient, and usable interior volume over previous "fit the opening" frig was tremendous.
Excerpt: We bought our Fischer Paykel refrigerator in September 2005. Loved the look of the special stainless steel, and it's storage capability. Today -- about six months after our 2-year warranty expired -- the handle on the top door broke off. Will take about a week to order a "door handle kit" and then we can schedule a repairman. Who knew it was designed so poorly?
Summary: Maybe biased as House is full of Fisher & Paykel products, but current Fridge is 440L F&P purchased about 11yrs ago, still in perfect condition, Never Missed a beat, & too good to be relegated to the Garage as Beer Fridge... But could not put the new one in the Garage either... :-) Could not recommend F & P Products more highly...
Summary: Fantastic Fridge!!!
I have had this fridge for over a year now and have not had one single problem with it.Love the plastic pull out draws in the freezer. Looks great and has a very spacious interior. Very easy to keep clean too!
