Summary: We replaced our short and fat American fridge with this tall and lean European one. Now we have more space in the kitchen and are very happy for that. The machine is very good. Only draw back is that the door shelf isn't wide enough to hold a one gallon jug of milk, but we knew that. A German fridge of similar style can handle the one gallon jug, but that fridge is about $1000 more than the Fagor, so it was not quite worth that for us.
Summary: i love my fagor, but you should know that our relationship got off to a rocky start. the good news: my fridge arrived promptly, no delivery charge, no sales tax, great deal. the sales guys at ajmadison were great. the customer service guys at fagor were great. the bad news: first, i forgot to ask ajmadison to switch the doors, so i thot, okay, no problem, i'll do it myself. about halfway into the project i arrived at a bolt i couldn't remove.
Summary: After seeing European fridges 20 years ago, I've been biding my time until I could get one here in the U.S. Even the energy efficiency is hard to come by, let alone good design with efficient layout & not taking over the kitchen. The Fagor is a gorgeous fridge. The shelves are glass. The door shelves are glass, too -- and they come apart *completely* for cleaning. THAT I like.
Summary: I am so pleased with my new acquisition. Fagor is the best refrigerator I ever had. Its sleek, really beautiful and extremely functional. I am impressed with the capacity. I makes the food fresher for long time than a regular refrigerator. Its very quiet. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I strongly recommend to everybody.
Summary: Excellent product for a smaller kitchen. What it lacks in width is more than compensated for in height. Egonomics - I loothe bending over to look into a fridge and with this fridge I look in and up. There is alot of space in this refridgerator. My only concerns are the itsy bitsy ice cube tray in the freezer, even though I am not a big consumer of ice, and the third pull-out drawer in the freezer seems to come out too easily.
Summary: I have a tiny kitchen and this slim fridge saves a ton of room but still has enough space for someone who cooks a lot. I am still adjusting to the freezer, which I find a little awkward with all the drawers. I would almost prefer if there was at least one open shelf in the freezer.
Summary: I am thrilled with my new Fagor refrigerator, which I have had for one month. The special "perfect freshness" drawers -- one for meats and another for fruits and vegetables -- perform so well that I haven't lost any food at all, even when it's taken quite a while to get to cooking and eating their contents. It's amazing.
Summary: This refrigerator is an unbelievable value! Quiet, beautiful, energy-efficient, professional, narrow (for our small kitchen, an absolute requirement). I LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I've had this refrigerator for 6 months now and ablsoutely love it. My tiny (56sf) kitchen needed something small but big enough for someone who likes to cook and doesn't want to shop every day. Fagor has been great.
Summary: I know Fagor from when I worked as a Chef in London. They are a great value for the money. This fridge keeps the food I prep at the perfect temp and it is very quiet. Unlike the other fridges I was looking at this is frost free. I find the layout to be the same as the unit I had in the UK but I nearly fell off my chair when I found out I could buy it here. I would strongly recommend Fagor for anything they make but the fridge is the best fridge I have ever owned.
