Summary: It is so QUIET and that's important when you live in a small space like mine. I thought it wasn't working at first because it didn't seem to make a sound. Seven hours later, everything is cold and happy in this marvelous small but spacious refrigerator. I love it.
Summary: Purchased on new, after 8 months this fridge sounds like a jet plane. so noisy i can't sleep, this went on for 4 more months, called danby and they said sorry, can't help you. no customer service, they stonewall you. looked into blogs, found others having same problem, also stonewalled. don't buy one, you'll be sorry.
Summary: This is a great refrigerator for its size, plenty of room for food, the only issue i had was it took 12 days for delivery, when it arrived it was laying on its side,so i had to wait 24 more hours to plug it in.
Summary: All the reviews I have read have been from recent purchasers. These units work great at the beginning then the circulation fan starts to get noisy. This would be fine as Danby will stand behind their stuff except the fan replacements are not available! In my case they took a perfectly working but noisy six month old fringe to the dump. If Danby can get their parts problem solved, this would be a perfect small fridge.
Summary: Perfect apartment size refrigerator. It came with one shelf missing, but after a couple of tries, customer service provided the missing shelf. Since its a shorter refrig, i Love the freezer on the bottom.
Summary: We bought this fridge for a cabin that has a small kitchen. We like that the fridge is on top, since we get into the fridge section a lot more than the freezer section. No bending to find food and drinks. Plenty of space in it for our weekend get-a-way cabin. It was worth paying a little extra for a nice product that suits our needs.
Summary: When I read the reviews people mentioned that it was quiet. after buying I realized it wasnt quiet at all. In fact I had to move it from the kitchen which was close to my living room to the closet where my washer and dryer was. so I could close the door. other than that, I found everything else as I had wanted. I would have loved it if it had been quieter. Now I am wondering if AJ Madison (where I bought it) sold me a used one.
Summary: Being an empty nester, I was looking to downsize on the cubic space. I have an eat-in kitchen, and with this size, it gave me more floor space. Ample inside, don't have to bend down, everything is at eye level, (except for the ice cubes), I am happy with the freezer on the bottom. I recieved this a week before Easter, and had no problem with leftovers. Runs quiet.
Summary: Too bad it does not have any shelf on freezer door. Also, it would be better if the place for soda or beer cans was not included and replaced with compartments for butter/cheese, etc. It's ridiculous to think that everyone drinks beer and soda.
Summary: I've had it since for just less than a year and I like it so far. I like the space available for a small unit. The bottom freezer works best for this application (backup refrigerator). My only suggestion to Danby would be to make the freezer bin slide out nicely. It's a bit clunky the way it is designed now. A sliding feature for this area would be great as it is on the bottom.
