Expect a little bit of noise and frozen eggs if not careful.

Summary: I learned to set this mini fridge on number 5 or sometimes 4.5, Do not set it on 6 unless you like frozen eggs and chunky milk bergs. It's relatively quiet, this is my first mini fridge so I cannot compare it to others.. so far everything works great! Very spacious and the freezer freezes liquids very quickly. I would highly recommend this fridge for the everyday college student.
Summary: I had this fridge all through college and it was pretty good. The fridge itself looks really nice and stylish with the stainless steel. I loved having the separate real freezer, which none of the college dorm fridges had. I did run into a problem, where after about a year, the fridge portion started cooling very unevenly. My milk in the door would spoil too quick while items in the back would freeze solid.
Summary: Primary downside I've encountered thus far is that the temperature adjustment is sensitive. If I put it on 5, it doesn't quite get as cold as I'd like. If I put it on 6, it freezes liquid inside the refrigerator. It's nice having a separate section with a door for the freezer. The drawer compartment in the bottom doesn't stay in very well. You have to push it back in (the entire compartment, not just the drawer) almost every time you use it.
Summary: I had purchased a Haier through Amazon and it was noisey then stopped working before 3 months were up. Amazon took it back no problem. So I started looking for another one and found this one. It is whisper quite, medium energy use and have had no problems. I would recommend it.
Summary: I use my Danby as my only fridge in a single-person household replacing an old large inefficient full sized fridge/freezer. My Danby is able to maintain the proper below 40 degrees in the fridge and below 0 degrees in the freezer as mandated by the USDA (US Dept of Agriculture) for safe refrigeration. I am monitoring these temperatures with different thermometers in the fridge and freezer. The attractive features are properly described in the product description.
Summary: Bought this one to replace my old Emerson 2-Door Compact Refrigerator (dead after 4 years). The refrigerator section is much colder than the Emerson. When I set the thermostat at 5 (total is 6), the milk I put in the door storage will has some ice in it. The temp of Emerson compact refrigerator is not stable. This one is better, and also quieter. Really love this refrigerator. But the packaging box of Danby is not strong.
Summary: I've had this refrigerator about three months and it works fine. However, when moving it, I apparently lifted it by the top and broke a plastic part that connects the top to the unit. Warranty doesn't cover plastic parts after 30 days. They gave me phone number to order replacement parts but I gave up after being on hold for one hour.
Summary: I bought this fridge because I was sick of not having a freezer that worked properly. Now I have a killer freezer, but the fridge is wimpy. The freezer is so wonderfully cold that it seems to be sucking the life out of the refrigerator part of it. I open the door and it's just not cold. It seems to be room temperature which makes me wonder what will happen in the Summer. I'm definitely disappointed.
Summary: Online reviews of this little refrigerator/freezer were very good. Very energy-efficient and maintains zero degrees Fahrenheit in the separate freezer compartment. If you like ice cream, that's important. Price is higher than others but seems to be a good value. Energy Star rated was important to me.
