The Yamaha RX-V361 is a 5.1 channel digital home theater receiver. It gives a great performance that provides a true home theater experience. It has 4 SCENE buttons and 3 HDTV compatible component video inputs. It is XM Ready with an SM HD Surround which is powered by Neural Surround. It has a width of 17.1 inches, a height of 5.9 inches, a depth of 12.5 inches and weight of 17.6 pounds. Aside from being XM ready, the home theater receiver supports AM and FM radio bands.

Features

Yamaha RX-V361 home theater receiver includes Yamaha’s SCENE buttons. The system has four SCENE buttons that provides easy access from DVD players to music players such as iPod with just a touch of one button. There is a mini jack at the front panel that lets the user connect a portable device in order to send media. It also features the SILENT CINEMA mode which makes private listening of multichannel music or movies possible. And it gives a precise simulation of surround sound using even ordinary headphones.

    In the world of inexpensive A/V receivers, the Yamaha RX-V361 is everything an entry-level AV receiver should be and then some. A total of 500 total watts (into five channels), Dolby Digital and DTS decoders built in, and component switching at this price make it hard to find much to complain about. Plus, operating this A/V receiver is made very easy with Yamaha's SCENE buttons added to the front panel and the remote. Read more
