  Hi This is my first tme to ask questions I am considering a new amp, music being my priority.

  If music is my priority should I go for the Marantz SR 9600 AVRR the newer Denon 4308 ? If Home Theater was the top priority it would be the 4308 no question.
  However traditionally Marantz has had the rep for build quality and finre music. But things change over time. I realise the Marantz is getting a couple of years old now.
