Excerpt: I feel that for the money, this was a great purchase. The higher powered burners boil water quickly and the oven itself preheats fast as well. The grates are a little rough as they're not coated or porcelain, but I knew I wasn't buying the top of the line unit. It's also not self-cleaning, but I was aware. We are looking to leave this with a house we're selling but wanted something that was dependable. Overall I am thrilled with the purchase as it lives up to its specs.
Pros: Attractive Design, Heats Up Quickly, High-Powered Burners, Large Surface Area
Summary: I purchased this stove to replace another brand that I had selected because it was on sale. It creaked and groaned and the burners had two heat levels, hot and really hot. It burned things and could not simmer for sauces. I truly hated it. When I used the over it made loud noises as the cheap grates heated and contracted, really startling! I love the new one, I just cooks efficiently and quietly. So glad I pitched the old and came in with the new!
Summary: Hard to find a lot of black appliances these days, but this one is just what I was looking for. The burner configuration has 2 high BTU burners, one mid-range, and one simmer - a very nice feature. Also, the burners are enclosed, making clean-up a breeze.
Summary: I bought my Whirlpool range a few months back and I can't believe what a treat it has been to cook again. I have always loved baking, but my old range never heated evenly. With my new Whirlpool range, all my cakes, tarts, cookies and pie's come out of the oven bakery quality. I have actually started entering my cakes and pies in local contests in our town over the summer with rave reviews! And...my family gets a home cooked meal more than twice a week again.
