Wasted my hard earned money on this range

  • Summary: I purchased this range about 6 months ago and have been unhappy with it ever since. The glass top is very difficult if not impossible to clean. I was told by a repair person that came to check out my concerns about the range to use a razor blade and lots of cleaner. But to be careful with the razor blade so as to not scratch the top. It requires way too much time to keep it clean so it looks dirty most of the time.

Loving my new range!

  • Summary: I love my new range even though the surface temp is tough to control. I've always had an electric range and they have never been overly precise but this one seems to cook hotter than I'm used to on low.
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Clean, Heats Up Quickly, High-Powered Burners, Large Surface Area
  • Cons: Imprecise Temp Control

Whirlpool Convection Range

  • Summary: Only had the range for a couple weeks, but have used many of it's features which perform well . The convection capability saves 20-30% cooking time over conventional stoves . The only negative so far is cleaning the glass top every couple days, however the cleaner and pad provided with the range do a good job .

  • Summary: I haven't had the opportunity to use the convection feature of this stove, but love the color (stainless steel), love the warmer/burner feature, and love how easily it cleans up! I am super satisfied with my choice.

  • Summary: This feature DOES NOT WORK. After 3 uses of the oven I noticed some splattering and stains had occurred. Ran the self cleaning cycle and nothing was accomplished. Followed the directions in the manual exactly. Ran it 2 more times. Still nothing. Called customer services and they basically told me that the stains might never come off and maybe I should call the dealer and he might have some liquid to take off the grease.

Broken already!! Keep looking.

  • Summary: Very disappointed. Didn't like this range from the get go but, kept telling myself it was because I wasn't used to it. I have had to replace both a 13yr old stove and microwave in the past 4 mos and feel I have went backwards on quality on both. The oven racks in this range are cheap and flimsy....not going to hold anything heavy. Oven drawer is excessively small, and it's not simply because of the larger oven.

Nice look

  • Summary: This is a replacement unit. It preheats much faster than my old Kenmore that had hidden coils. I like seeing the current temperature during the pre-heat time, I can see how it is progressing. I know the storage drawer is smaller, but easily holds the broiler pan, which is all I really need to put in there. Have not yet tried cleaning, so no opinion. Usually I only need to run a cleaning cycle once a year, so not too worried.
