Totally pleased

25 April 2014
  • Summary: Have had for just a little over a week, but so far totally pleased with the functions that I've used. Even temperatures, easy to clean, simple clean lines with easy access controls. Have not yet used the broiler or self-clean.

Product Great, but no cord included

Almost Beaten, reviews.lowes.com
9 December 2011
  • Summary: This stove is great but they don't tell you that you need to purchase a cord or which one to get, three wire or four or hard wire. The dimentions with slide or drop-ins is deceiving and most people have to cut the countertop after it has been delivered and set on the floor in your kitchen. After the installation nightmare, the stove operation is excellent, no regrets with this model at all. Fine product if you can survive the install.

slide in electric range

Elvira, reviews.lowes.com
10 September 2011
  • Summary: I had to purchase a slide in range that fit the dimensions of our old stove. This range fit the dimensions the closest and I felt confident it would be a good product because it was a Whirlpool. However it was wired incorrectly at the factory. When we plugged it in after delivery it blew out the control panel. We had to wait over a week for the part to arrive and be installed. It is fixed but I am concerned that this range will not last.
  • Pros: nice appearance

Not a High Quality Product

Bill, reviews.lowes.com
11 August 2011
  • Summary: The coils are cheap and the drip pan and coil move around too much. The advertised 8" coil is really 7" and the 6" coil is really 5". The spacing of the coils in the spiral is really wide and this will impact the heating ability. The storage drawer is flimsy. Lowe's graciously picked it up and gave me a refund with no hassle.

Unhappy with this range!

Dblwhammy Connie, reviews.lowes.com
17 July 2011
  • Summary: I picked this range over all others for my kitchen remodel - I have not been pleased with several of the features -One is the touchscreen oven settings - I've had this product for less than three years and am about to replace the touchscreen for the second time. The pain of it is that it always happens when you really need the oven (duh!) - the numbers quit working seemingly at random. The oven will not clean itself as advertised and leaves a lot of uncleaned areas.
  • Pros: whirlpool name
  • Cons: Low quality, Not durable, breaks

Buyers Beware!

Miss M, Amazon
19 August 2008
  • Summary: I bought a similar model in 2005 with the "self cleaning" feature. I used the self-cleaning feature a few days ago and am now left with a broken oven. The self-locking door malfunctioned and now I cannot open the door at all. The oven door is stuck in the locked mode and even turning off the electricity to it will not reset the stove.
