Summary: Gold slide in range controls just failed after 2 years, I fear this will be expensive, didnt buy extended warranty, the days of ovens being reliable and lasting 10-20 years are over with this product. we bought all whirlpool appliances after a recommendation from a friend in the business, we have had issues with 1/2 of them I suspect the microwave and dishwasher are about to crash too after 2 years.
Summary: Pros: Price, look, baking results and features Cons: Touch pad fails after 2 years losing ability to use most features. It cost 40% of the appliance price to replace it. I realized how widespread the problem after googling the issue but Whirlpool won't admit it. If you're planning to buy it I recommend extended warranty.
Summary: I rate this range high it looks sharp and cooks wells. The only thing I put as only good is the Value. Not because of the quality, because I do not feel anything needs to be priced as it is these days. The economy has lowered our wages and hit multiple levels with job losses. I just don't think things need to be priced in the thousands. That would be a personal thing. Truly even the value is Excellent.
Summary: I purchased my Whirlpool Stove in 2005, along with whirlpool refrigerator and dishwasher. The electronic board started acting up about 2 years ago, clock and other elements quit working. 2 weeks ago my whole board went out. Costing $600 to fix it. Replace the board and the front cover. I paid $1300 for my stove. They just don't make appliances like they use to. I will be looking for another brand next time.
