Summary: The touch pad will fail within 2 years. Google 'touchpad fails' on whirlpool slide-in range and you'll see how widespread the problem is. It costs $500 to repair & no guarantee it will not fail again. If you must buy, get extended warranty.
Summary: Yeah it's pretty to look at but it's really functional and works well too! I've had mine 1&1/2 yrs now and I don't know why there are complaints about the burner size, for cryin' out loud aren't 3 size options enough for on a stove??? I can use 2 of my largest pans for cooking at the same time as I use my itty bitty pan for sauces or veggies. The oven is AWESOME!!! Talk about accurate and even baking! And the self clean function does a great job!
Summary: This glass top looks great until you cook on it. It's so difficult to keep up...doesn't clean and shine well at all. And having four elements with only two different sizes is really inconvenient and not energy effiecient, as one finds oneself cooking on elements that are frequently either too large or too small for various cookware.
Summary: This unit looks good - until the first time you use the glass cooktop. It gets fouled from the first use and is impossible to clean the hot spots. The keypad also starting having button failures in less than a year. Just ordered a service call to have it replaced.
Summary: If the attractiveness of the range and the way it sits in your cabinetry is the most important thing to you, then this is the range for you. It's sleek-looking and cleans up nicely without having to constantly pull out that special cream to clean the top. However, it's performance is only average. ONly 4 radiant burners, with the same 6/9" choices--(would have been good if they threw in a 7" burner, o r maybe a 12"? Having four 6" burners is unimaginative.
