Summary: I've had this range just under 4 years. The first time I went to use the self clean feature for the oven it didn't work. Naturally it was just past the warranty period.... Now the front control pad limits what numbers I can select. 1,2,7 are not options.
Summary: I purchased this new on Craig s list and believed I was buying the GW399LXUS. This unit does not have the convection oven. There is a duct on the range top rear that appears to be a fan. There is no switch to turn it on so it may be utilized in the next level model.
Summary: Much as I LOVE this range, in the 3.5 years I've owned it, the keypad control has broken down twice. The first time it happened (after only 9 months), the repair guy told me that this was a known issue, and that I needed to be extra careful with liquids getting on it, to clean it with a damp cloth...
Summary: I have to agree with C. davey. We have had this range for just over 1 year and the keypad has several dead buttons on it. Replacing the part (called a membrane, in case you're googling for it) is about $150 if you do the work yourself. I believe I "killed" the panel just by cleaning it.
Summary: Even though the product picture shows a frosted window it is not and you can see thru the window it is a very clear window..You can also see the screws in the inside holding the back of the door on! Just doesn't look finished!
Summary: I really wanted to like this stove. It is pretty with clean lines, it is easy to clean and it has a nice bottom storage drawer. But, I have many gripes with it: 1. Front electronic panel has "burned out" twice! 2. The grates are too high above the burners, so it take FOREVER to boil water! 3.
Summary: After having this gas range for 2 years and 10 months the key pad and board are going to have to be replaced at a cost of $440.00. The black enamel on top of the stove is hard to keep clean and easy to scratch with cleaning.
Summary: I purchased this stove 6-7 years ago. Upon using the oven my husband and I found that the front panel on the range became hot to the touch. So hot that you would get burned. A technician was called out and we were told that there was nothing wrong with it.
