Summary: Like many others, I have found major problems with oven temperature variability. I set the oven for 350. After 6 minutes, the display read 350 and there was a Beep. But the oven thermometer read 290. Six minutes later, the thermometer read 375. Finally, after 30 minutes, the thermometer read 350. The same pattern occurred when iven was set at 375 and 325. Samsung techs have come 2x to change temp sensor in back wall, suggesting I move thermometer to back wall!!
Summary: I had this range delivered and set up. They turned the oven on to burn it off and everything went well. One hour later the control panel started to flicker as I was watching and then died. I called Samsung for their phone diagnostic and the tech said the unit was faulty. he said to contact the store which I did. The store couldn't get a repairman for 2 weeks and to get a new range would take three weeks. I still don't have an oven that works.
Summary: Much like the reviewer above me, I've been very disappointed in this range. I too have an oven that can't hold it's temperature. I've noticed that when I set the oven at 350, a meal that used to take me an hour to cook (in my old oven) now takes well over that, and often ends up cooked on the outside and not cooked on the inside. I called the appliance store where I bought this unit, and the repair guy came out.
Summary: Loved the look and feel of this range and its many features. Top burners are great and top is easy to clean. Stainless requires constant loving (meaning rubbing with SS cleaner) to look good. The PROBLEM: the oven does not get up to temperature. I used it for several days knowing that something was wrong but giving myself time to adjust to the newness of the oven.
Summary: We are waiting on delivery of a third range. The first two had problems with bent legs, such that it was not possible to level the range. After the first unit we had Sears check that everything was OK before delivering the next unit. Well that didn't go so well and now we're waiting another week for a replacement unit (and a second installation bill).
Samsung Gas Range oven doesn't come up to temperature

Summary: We also spent alot of time researching and checking out many brands at many stores before deciding on this Samsung. We loved the cook top configuration and the extra large oven box with multiple racks and rack placements. The stovetop has every combo you could think of and use for any variety of food preparation. The oven on the other hand is not what we expected for this price range.
Summary: received on Dec 28, 2011. Issue #1 left side panel was damaged would not stay snaped in at the bottom it bowed out. Issue #2 Storage drawer will not stay on its track, when you pull it out one side or the other hits the floor. I didnt see any brackets or rollers attached to the drawer. In my opinion thats whats missing but after looking at the manual all it shows is vinyl clips that snap on to internal rail so not sure.
Summary: I am returning this oven. Although it is nice because it looks great, that only gets you so far. I thought when i first bought the oven that it was not cooking as quickly as my old oven. So I bought an oven thermometer and lo and behold the oven temperature was 50 degrees less than displayed on the oven. So to bake something at 350 I had to raise the temp to 400. I called samsung and they told me how to re calibrate it. That didn't work so they sent a technician out.
Summary: Everything was okay for range, but when using the cooktop, the gas coming out was loud. We have an open floor plan and it was loud enough to distract people in living room some 20 feet away. Switched to Bosch and we've been happy since. Pros: Good feature set for price. Cons: Loud when using cooktop, Cheap bottom drawer.
