Summary: Worst range I have ever had in my house or used in anyone house. Range looks nice, but does not have all of the bells and whistles as other ranges. The oven did not work for ****. So this is the WORST experience I have ever had with Sear's and or Samsung, not to mentioned the repair people who dont know how to provide customer service.
Summary: I bought this range from sears. After two month , 2 of 5 die cast control knob cracked and broken. It is still in the warranty , so I called Samsung customer service. First person give me a 1800 number, and they want to sell the knob for $35 each. The second one spent 1 hour and asked me endless of questions,and finally agreed to replace the knobs. Those customer service people seems have no knowledge about their own products.
Summary: I bought this oven in November and thought it was taking a long time to cook my food. Upon buying an oven thermometer I saw that the oven display would say 350 degrees and the actual inside temperature was 300, the oven was 50 degrees off! I called Samsung and they sent a technician out. The technician told me that the oven was in fact working properly. I said sir you do see that the display reads 350 and the inside thermometer says 300 right??
Summary: They call this a range convection, however it is not. The fan only spins for 10 seconds out of a minute. That is not convection cooking. The fan in a convection oven spins constantly to keep the air moving. A convection fan that spins for only 10 secondas will prevent hot spotsd at best. I am very disgusted with samsung over this purchase. I have the samsung fridge and dishwasher, they are fine. This range however is junk.
