Summary: I purchased this range in December 2010 and have waited a year to write my review. While I was very excited to finally purchase a double oven, which I have been very pleased with, I must make issue with the cooktop. I had a smooth top before so I am at a loss as to the frustration this unit has caused me. I absolutely hate it. The burners do not hold their settings, and the constant on and off and uneven heating temperatures cause havoc when cooking.
Summary: Have had this beauty for 2 wks & I am not disappointed at all! Love all that it does, & it does it all very well too. Favorite feature is the smaller oven, the location is really convenient for everyday use! Easy to wipe down, esp having the flat bottom in both ovens (no coils to clean around in either oven). Everything is in great working order, it looks & feels like a very solid, sturdy range. Baked a turkey using the convention oven - wow, it turned out beautifully!
Pros: High quality, Durable, attractive, sturdy, convenient, options, usa made
Summary: Love this Maytag, or Wirlpool oven with the Maytag name on it. The Bridged burners are great for my oblong cookware and griddle. The dual oven was the seller for me and have used both at the same time for baking the rolls while the roast is in the larger oven, cookies while the chicken is baking. The choice of standard bake and convection is also a nice feature.
Summary: I have had my Maytag free-standing double oven for several years. I love pretty much everything about it and have had no mechanical problems with the exception of having to replace one of the heating elements. I felt that the element failed much too soon for the age of the range; however, there have been no other problems since replacement of that part.
