Summary: This oven looks very nice but its performance and reliability is yet another thing. We've had this oven for a little less than 3 years and it's in the process of being replaced. The biggest issue is the oven and temperature control. The oven started taking forever to reach a decent cooking temp, now it won't get there no matter how long you wait. We've had both the sensor and main board replaced and the problem still persists.
Summary: I had a new kitchen I changed all of my appliances for LG's,and it is the last time I buy this brand. My stove is supposed to be self clean and it clean so badly it is no use, all of the oven shelves are not self clean, the first time I used the self clean they became all corroded, they sent me replacement shelves, minus one who never came, they are in the same shape as the other they sent me were a copy of the others.
Summary: I just bought this in July 2013. I really love the looks of it. I'm still learning about all the different features. I haven't baked anything yet but I'm sure with the convection it will turn out great. I made roasted chicken and it was so moist and tender. It does concern me that it's now discontinued, good thing I bought the extended warranty. The only thing I would change about this appliance is the vent. I would move the vent to the back of top of the unit.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: Love the cooktop and the duel fan convection oven. Top heats up fast while the oven cooks and bakes to perfection. Oven is also larger than most which allows you to cook different things at the same time.
Summary: This is a great range with a lot of nice features. Here is why I didn't give it a 5. First, they call it a slide in but it's really a free standing range, because there is no lip that covers the surrounding counter top and gives a true built-in look. Luckily I knew that from reading other reviews and was OK with it but if you expecting the same look as a true slide in, it would be a disappointment.
Summary: We bought this LG range along with 2 other LG appliances so all would match. So far we are very satisfied with this range. The multiple oven racks come in very handy - I especially like the glide-out rack for ease of putting heavy pans in and taking them out. Baking on 3 racks at a time worked good. I love the triple burner - finally a large burner that fits our large frypans and kettles! There are a few negatives: 1.
Summary: Owned since Nov 2012.One of the things I love about my kitchen. Great looking professional knobs, adjustable burners, great looking appliance.I believe I have used every function from convection bake, broil, warming drawer everything works great.-what I don't understand is why 5th warming burner has multiple settings on dial, but only functions as on or off. Also it's a shame they do not offer a trim kit.
Summary: Very nice, professional-looking stove. Two annoying problems with this unit. First, the oven fan stays on for 45-60 minutes to "cool" the unit after you are finished with the oven. Even when you did not use the excellent convection mode. If your kitchen opens up into the family room like ours, the noise of the oven fan is VERY annoying. Way too loud. Totally unacceptable. We bought a very quiet LG dishwasher to have peace after dinner is done.
