Summary: Range arrived about 3 weeks ago. Have used oven for roasting vegetables, baking casseroles, pizza and cookies. All turned out perfect. Have not tried convection feature yet. As far as cooktop, not only do burners heat items very quickly, they are also extremely responsive reacting almost instantly when the heat is lowered. It is possible to get just the right heat level and keep something at a low boil, etc. So far we couldn't be happier with this purchase.
Summary: We were nervous about switching to induction and purchasing from AJ Madison but are very happy with the whole experience. The range works great and purchase/delivery were problem-free. It seems most low ratings here are on delivery issues but our range actually came faster than we expected.
Summary: Both the cooktop and the oven work very well, though the oven takes a little longer to heat than I would have expected. Overall, we are very satisfied with the purchase, and would make the same choice again if we had the opportunity. Of the available induction ranges, we chose the GE Profile because the controls were relatively simple, the cost was reasonable enough, and the functional aspects of the stove (burner placement, etc.) seemed sufficiently practical.
Summary: My husband and I decided pretty quickly that we were going to switch to induction when we bought our new range, and after reading reviews of the three freestanding available this one was the no-brainer. We tracked prices for a while, and when it hit an appropriate level we pounced. The stove was delivered quickly and without a hitch.
Summary: 2 months old and have used it enough to give a review. I love cooking with this stove. Instant heat, instant cool, safer than gas. Oven has great capacity and I love the true convection. My only drawback on this is the black controller touch pad shows every fingerprint every time it is adjusted. I'd also like a bit more of a defined look for the burners as I'm always trying to locate exactly where my pan should be on the cooktop.
