Pretty but not so functional....

Kelsie, Amazon

  • Summary: Having owned and used this oven/range for about three years, I can confidently write this review. I have to admit, I bought this oven because it looked nice....but soon found out that you cannot judge a book by its cover! I will just list the pros and cons: Pros: Good looking, easy to clean range top, burners work well Cons: Layout of the burners is not practical, the sizes of the burners are not very functional (the 2 small burners are just plain too small) the oven is...

Classy, functional, and accurate

  • Summary: Just received this oven from my warranty company that replaced my old oven that had a gas leak. This oven is very nice. It is very attractive and very functional. I bought the GE griddle from amazon to put over the middle burner for pancakes and what not. The powerburner is a great option and boils a pot of water very fast. The convection oven is great. My wife already made muffins and I roasted some potatoes in it and they both turned out great.

Odd Design

Rangers Fan, Amazon
18 March 2013
  • Summary: We have owned this range approx. 3 years. I haven't noticed any problems with the oven or cook top burners, but I rated it low because of two reasons. First, the cook top burners and grate are in an odd design. Both forward burners are too close to the front edge of the stove and to one another. This wouldn't be a big problem, except that these are the largest burners intended to handle bigger pots or pans.

  • Summary: "I was nervous about using Appliances Connection because their prices were so low. However, I had dealt with another online company and received 2 faulty ovens and the oven I ordered from Appliances Connection was perfect.
  • Pros: They were very good keeping me updated on the location of the appliance.
  • Cons: none

  • Summary: "I like the burner offset configuration, it is great when using larger pans and pots. I also like the burner grids as it gives the cooktop an even surfact making it easier to slide pots and pans around. Do not like the fact that when you lean over the control panel, you can activate features.

  • Summary: "This replaced my old range dating back to 1971...and found my new GE a wonderful upgrade to the 21st century! Oven is easy to program, bakes/roasts, etc well. I'm impressed w the digital controls - for example, easy to preheat - set the oven temp and the then it beeps when it's ready. Cooktop - the cast iron add a nice look & burners heat nicely.
