Summary: Bought this to go with the refrigerator and dishwasher we already had bought. Love the split rack and the finish and top are easy to clean. The only negative I have for this appliance is the convection fan is louder than I think it should be. My previous convection oven (GE) was much quieter.
Summary: We bought a lot of these for some apartments we rent out along with Frigidaire dishwashers and microwave ovens. We are having to repair them at an alarming rate. Replacement parts are outrageously expensive. With the cost of labor, it's often a difficult decision whether to just replace these with another brand. We started replacing 26 year old appliances about three years ago and now the repairs are starting to pile up.
Summary: I purchased this range from Lowes only because they had a big sale - ended up with 30% off. We are very happy with our purchase. Summary: I am extremely unhappy with this oven. The oven when turned on gets unbelievably hot both at the top of the range and on the front panel of the oven. I have had it melt thick Rubbermaid tupperware sitting anywhere on top of the stove, and the front panel is HOT to the touch. I was told by Frigidaire that it is normal that there is no insulation in the front door panel, and to keep children away from it. Try keeping small children away from that! This stove is dangerous!
Summary: Oven looks great and works like it should. No problems yet. If you have propane instead of natural gas you have to request conversion kit. Only thing I would want improved: The gas burners don't have the precise control expected from a gas stove. Small adjustments of knob don't translate to small flame adjustments for fine tuning stovetop heat. That said, it cooks just fine and I'm pleased with the purchase.
Summary: I've had my stove for nearly 2 months now, and I absolutely love it. There's no way someone can turn on the burners by accident as you have to push in the knob and turn at the same time. Trust me ... I tried, and I simply cannot manage to make my belly twist the knob while pushing on it! I'm an engineer and must always satisfy my curiosity! I'm highly dubious about the other reviewer that said they'd done it multiple times.
Summary: We switched from an electric stove to a gas stove and I am very happy with it. I made pizza tonight on a stone and it came out great! All of the meals have been great! I also purchased burners for my island. I am a Certified Nutritional Health Coach and I also teach cooking classes [...] so I am very happy with my appliances and my beautiful kitchen. To your vibrant health and happiness!
Summary: DO NOT SPILL ANY AMOUNT OF LIQUID ON THE STOVE TOP. You will ruin the entire range!!!! We had a spill of 2-3 cups of oil from a frying pan on to the stove top of our Frigidaire Gallery range. We turned off the burners we were using and also the oven. After a couple minutes we started using paper towel to absorb the hot grease. It took less than 10 minutes and all seemed well. We used the burners after cleaning up and even turned the oven back on.
Summary: I would never, ever buy Frigidaire products.I suggest you go to their own Facebook page to see the volume of complaints which go unanswered. Our local supplier will no longer carry their products due to poor build which means their service dept is cnstantly on repairs for them.we got 3 appliances all of which have gone wrong under warranty including the pump on a dishwasher-and the part didn;t come for weeks so imagine the stench.
Summary: Prior to purchase, this was my wish list: gas, 5 burners, continuous cast iron grates, metal knobs, slide-in unit. Then I decided I had to have soapstone counter tops - and decided to spend an extra 1k on them - and compromise on the stove. My compromise was changing from a slide-in model to freestanding. After deciding what I wanted, I'd tried to find a product that avoided negative review about those specific features (hello millions of hours of research).
