Summary: This stove arrived broken out of the box. Waited 2 weeks for repair before I could use the oven. Then I discovered that the fan that cools the outside of the oven was extremely noisy. Had the fan replaced, no difference.
Summary: I had an unreasonable expectation because of the good dishwashers they make. This is a such a poorly made product. The knobs are plastic filled so if they get too hot they melt. It is difficult to clean. It is off by 50 degrees but has no real setting. The fan is really loud.
Summary: The stove is great. Taking a little getting used to the high output burners but am loving the way it cooks. We looked at a lot of stoves and for the money this one seems so far to be great and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Summary: We looked for a decent 36" gas range for about 6 months before our purchase of the Fisher Paykel. 99% of the 36" ranges we liked were twice the price and more. This one has all the features & build quality of the much more expensive ranges that are publicized.
Summary: I regret having bought this range. The double-ring burner ignites with a big, scary mushroom of flame. Even the simmer burner is very hot, and everything cooks faster and hotter than I want it to. To light the oven I have to ignite (push on the knob) for a full twenty seconds.
Summary: The oven cooks uneven, and has no tempature gauge. Everything has to be on the top shelf. For a big oven it is terrible for baking or cooking. Wish I would have listened to other bad reviews before I bought. At the time the pro ones out numbered the bad ones.
Summary: I love the look of my FP Range but that's where our love affair ends. The burners are confusing to replace after cleaning. You really have to use this thing to understand what I mean but it's annoying. The largest burner is too large for my largest calphalon pasta pot.
Summary: I was leery of this range at first - I wanted the commercial look and performance and I feared it was a bit "modern" appearing. The range looks wonderful installed and performs even better. 3 of the gas burners are extremely powerful and 2 more modest - the perfect combination.
