Summary: Just purchased the Electrolux Induction Free-Standing Range and love, love, love it. All that business about boiling water in 90 seconds is true--oatmeal on the stove is so quick, as well as pasta, etc. My last stove was the KitchenAid Architect II Series Dual-Fuel, also an excellent appliance, but we had to install a gas line in that home; as that wasn't an option in our condo, we were happy to give induction a try. Clean up is easy.
Summary: Have owned this range for about 6 months. While I haven't explored many of the features and haven't fully utilized the ovens, the range top is amazing. This will boil water amazingly fast and heat soups faster than the microwave! Also, has more control thane even gas. Immediately on and immediately off. The bottom oven is great too. Perfect for cooking some side dishes in while the turkey roasts in the main oven.
Summary: I've had this stove for a few weeks now and used many but not all of its functions. I am an experienced cook who cooks a lot. Pros The induction cooktop is really excellent. It is extremely fast to heat up and amazingly responsive (as responsive as gas) to changes in temperature. It takes a little while to get used to the range of low temperatures (because the temperature lowers immediately) for cooking things like rice.

Summary: "I never dreamed I would love this range as much as I do. The style is beautiful. It cooks like a dream. I used to heat a pan while I was prepping food. Now I prep everything ahead of time because induction cooks FAST! I love that I can take a pot from a rolling boil to flat liquid in a second. Amazing! And one advantage that is not mentioned much is the ease of cleaning the glass surface.
Summary: "this stove rocks. its fast. so fast, that you have to adjust your expectations and cooking times. water boils in no time flat. its faster than a microwave. we have a large cast iron frying pan (12") that used to take a while to heat up. not anymore. in seconds its smoking HOT. this range is a Ferrari and all other electric stoves are Yugo's. it makes cooking FUN AGAIN. even the ovens light are the BEST. for once, i can see the food clearly.
Summary: "This range has replaced the old external coil top and single oven range that we had acquired when we moved into this newly built home 30 years ago. For several years we have searched for, admired, and dreamt of a far better glass top range with double oven. Most products on the market have the smaller oven above the main oven, which requires much more bending and lifting. Not good for aging owners!
Summary: "This oven is replacing the one that came with the house when we bought it in 2001. It was probably put in around the 90's so it had coil burners that were never even and a stove that we temperamental at best. We got this stove as part of a full kitchen remodel and I was totally in love w/the concept of induction. After having the stove for 4 months now I absolutely love that it boils water it 90 seconds.
Summary: "Love this range. Highly powerful, instantly responsive and great control in the lower temperature ranges that my former gas range could not come close to matching. I happen to be a yogurt maker and this oven very pleasantly surprised me with an unsuspected feature. If you leave the oven off, but the oven light on, the lights alone heat the oven to 110-115 which is the perfect temperature at which to incubate yogurt. Much better than my old single-light oven.
