Summary: Love induction. Loved this stove. Now I will never buy another Electrolux product again. A few months ago it started flashing E15. I read the blogs and did the troubleshooting. January 5, 2015 the error code reappeared and it hasn't stopped. I can get it repaired for maybe 1200.00. If that doesn't work there is another 800.00 part that might fix it. E15 is a common problem with these stoves and unavoidable.

Summary: We've had ours for three years and it's been great for cooking and baking. Induction is pretty amazing. We do get sporadic E 15 errors on the touchpad (which all ranges seem to come with now) and we can clear them up only by powering it off for a minute or two. This happens about once every 12 months. Other than that, we have no complaints. I always worry about these computer controls dying, but I don't know if that isn't just the same across most ranges these days.
Excerpt: When we were remodeling our home, we also purchased a brand new stove for our secondary kitchen in the basement. I chose this range specifically for design and not at all for price. Electrolux Slide In Range was far from inexpensive but, the sales person said it was safer for the area we were installing it. I love the size of the range because it isn't really awkward to move. The top of the oven is made of a durable glass top.
Excerpt: When remodeling I searched for a slide in range that would be modern and easy to use. This added the ambiance and necessity I needed for both a chic and dependable appliance. It stands elegantly in my kitchen and is ready for the daily cooking, with easy clean up. I couldn't be happier with my choice.
Summary: Wow. Really? Bought this in June 2011 for just over $2000. Now, 3 yrs and 3 months later, after intermittent problems the whole time I've had it, we have repeated E15 error codes and is DOA. Costs about $750 to repair with parts and service calls and no guarantee it won't recur. Read the reviews online. It will recur. It's the components and the design. I'll replace the range. Should have lasted a lot longer. Won't purchase any other Electrolux products. Not ever.
Excerpt: I have not used my new stove to its potential (which will be Thanksgiving) but love the feature of a double oven. Will be able to keep foods warm after they cook in the lower oven while still cooking in the upper oven. Unlike the other double oven stove, your larger oven is on top making it easier to get in and out of. I'm so proud of my new drop in double oven stove.
Excerpt: LOVE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF MY NEW OVEN. IT'S FUN TO WAVE MY HAND OVER THE CONTROLS AND HAVE THINGS BEGIN TO HAPPEN. IT IS VERY EASY TO KEEP CLEAN AND HAS ENOUGH HEATING ELEMENTS TO ACCOMMODATE EVERY PAN I HAVE. LOVE THE RAPID PRE-HEATING OPTION. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THE LENGTH OF TIME IT TOOK THE OVEN TO COOL DOWN; I DID HAVE A TECHNICIAN CHECK IT AND HE SAID IT WAS APPROPRIATE.
