Summary: Total waste of $2500. Have had several major issues, the latest the glass in the control display shattered while I had oven on, go figure. I am not wasting more money to have it repaired, will just use it until it doesn't work anymore, then I'll buy an LG.
Summary: We have had this range for seven years. During that time I have loved using the range. I love the features on the range. The oven racks simply glide out, it is a delight. Now for the 1 star rating. Six years ago we were foolhardy enough to try the self-clean feature.
Summary: Don't buy it we bought a Electrolux Model EW30EF65GS and after 2 years it is getting thrown away. E15 Code is common and a nightmare if it is out of warranty it can cost up to $2500 to get fixed. We will never buy an Electrolux again. Do research on Code E15 and see for yourself.
Summary: My parents have bought this range expecting great results and a future of great cooking on the holidays and special occasions. What they got instead was a seriously ill conceived contraption. One that can't handle a families used to home cooking.
Summary: Bought this range as a left over at Lowe's so I got a good price on it. I got it back in January of 2011 and it didn't work when I got it home. Since it was discounted at Lowe's I couldn't take it back to them. I called electrolux about this issue.
Summary: Well my Electrolux range was delivered this morning and cooked breakfast. By dinner it had an error code 15. Which turns out to be any of several components controlling the stove top and requires a skilled technician and several days to fix. 8 freaking hours and a $2500.00 appliance is worthless.
Summary: Burners turn themselves off, the clock turns itself off, the oven(s) can't cook correctly, repairmen can't seem to get the parts when needed. Complained to Electrolux, very "forcefully", got a new one delivered...did the exact same thing even before the delivery men had left the driveway.
