Review

  • Excerpt: We have had this unit for almost five years. The overall quality and reliability has been very good and I am pleased with the service I have gotten out of the unit. I see no reason it will not last us many more years. I would recommend that at least two burners have the simmer feature. It should also have a light or other means to indicate the burner is in use. When using the simmer setting it is difficult to see that the burner is on.

Cooks well, but has problems.

LZ, electroluxappliances.com
28 September 2013
  • Excerpt: Two problems I have had with my cooktop/range are: 1. The stovetop is not forgiving. When splashes occur and are left on for a day it is very difficult to get off, especially around the burners and with the recommended hot, soapy water and a dishcloth. When using the stainless steel cleaner, it does not improve the stovetop. 2. Not knowing how, but somehow the oven door has marks inside the window of the door which cannot be cleaned.

grand so far

Roberta, AJ Madison

  • Summary: the cook top is wonderfull. All my pans set very evenly. So easy to adjust the burner level. Only able to use the oven x1, as it too hot to bake, slide out racks are on rollers-work so smooth. I need to obtain a better oven thermomitor, the oven may heat up almost 25 degrees more than what I set it for?

Fun to use

  • Excerpt: We have enjoyed the Electrolux Dual Fuel Slide-In Range. It has almost every option/gadget and I have enjoyed using them. My wife is more a traditional cook and really wanted and likes the gas burners. I researched dual fuel ranges carefully and this seemed the best choice. I haven't changed my opinion.

  • Summary: Pleased to report this Electrolux duel fuel range works fine unlike their matching series refrigerator which so far is trouble. Solid build and convenient top knobs.

  • Excerpt: Being a short person I've discovered that the control panel in front sticks out too far and gets in my way so I have to reach back further to do my cooking. Love the range and oven though. So far all is working wonderfully.

  • Excerpt: Burners seem to be to high for a nice simmer. Sometimes they woof at you too. Love the oven racks gliding out so smooth. Cleaning top is not my favorite job.

Good with Bad

Jimbo, AJ Madison

  • Summary: Tried 2 ranges because the top flange comes bent. Kept the 2nd one. Also as one reviewer said , I could not get the range top to fit on top of the counter top without the gaps.

Love the range, however........

Fried okra, electroluxappliances.com

  • Excerpt: Love the range! With that said, the horizontal panel that holds the controls needs to be slanted down from the cooktop. It becomes soiled with cooking and becomes especially messy when frying and sauteing. I did have to replace the curcuit panel after only nine months of use. Electrolux and the repairman were both courteous and efficient. I would recommend a warranty.
