Summary: The Electrolux Induction range has performed flawlessly so far. There are many levels of heat for the burners. Note that you will need magnetic pans to make this work - research induction cooking. Has 2 ovens, one main and a smaller one below. The only down side so far is that the stove is deeper than my kitchen counter, making it difficult to open the dishwasher that is 90 degrees from the stove. (small kitchen). Research, research, research before buying.
Pros: easy to use, easy cleanup
Cons: extends out farther than the countertop in front
Summary: I have researched this range for over a year waitng to get a sale price, but apparently Electrolux never has sales.I mainly wanted it for the induction stove top and the convection oven as it bakes in less time and saves some energy. I am thoroughly satisfied with both. I love the way it regulates the heat on the stove in small increments-like a gas stove and the way the heat turns off and cools so quickly. I would recommend this range to anyone who loves to cook .
Pros: Cooks like a pro
Cons: The controls might be a bit tricky for an older person not used to electronics
Summary: I am extremely happy with this range. The quality exceeds my expectations and it looks sleek and modern. The burners heat things up quickly and evenly. Controls are pretty easy but you do want to read the manual. Overall I am very happy. The only downside is when the oven is heating up it is a little noisy.
Pros: The range is well appointed and fairly easy to use. The burners and stove heat up quickly and cook food evenly.
Cons: When the oven is heating up its just a little loud. Nothing major but it was unexpected.
Summary: I was originally looking to buy a slide-in range. I didn't have my mind set on any particular brand but the Electrolux model ranked high on my list of contenders. After almost a year of scouring & searching both BB and numerous other online resources, I finally came across this free standing range @BB store near me. It was a display model that had been marked down, that coupled w/ purchase promo at the time & free delivery was a no brainer.
Pros: easy to use, several cooking options/heat settings
Summary: We like the appearance and ease of use. It was fairly easy to figure out operations. Like the extra warming burner. The oven cooks evenly. We like the ability to customize burners to the size of the pan. The smooth top is easy to wipe clean. We like the self cleaning oven. The delivery men were prompt and courteous. They bolted it securely so it can't tip over which is a nice safety feature.
Pros: Cooks evenly. Stove top cools immediately after turned off.
Summary: I have had this stove for about 2 months, replacing a 20 year old smooth top range. I thought this was a lot of bang for the buck with some features of much more $$$ stoves. I researched quite a bit and found the price very good @ Best Buy, since according to the salesman, the BTU rating is low for today's standards(how fast DO you need water to boil?), so the stove had been marked down for 'clearance'. It is smart looking and performs as expected.
