Excerpt: Very pleased with the performance of the range. The lighting in the oven gradually getting brighter is a awesome feature. The setting on the cook top is perfect, how low the burner goes makes the wife very pleased!! Will have to say I was very disappointed when I opened the stove originally and it only come with one ball bearing full extension oven rack. The display/floor model at lowes had two. So that's what I thought I was going to receive.
Summary: Hard to Clean. Controls too sensitive. Your cat will turn the oven light. I bought this because of the 80 Temps for dehydration and proofing capabilities, but if I could have seen the layout better on the top, I would have passed. The control panel is FLAT and take up 6 inches before you get to the burner. I saute a ton - so leaning over to reach the burners is NOT what I had in mind. Installation was nightmare..
Excerpt: I bought it for the name, hate the control panel never seems to stop beeping, Weighted plastic knobs for for burner control, surface seems to be too far burner very long time for a small pot of water to boil.
Excerpt: I had my range professionally installed, but couldn't use it right away because it kept blowing my fuse. Turns out the range wiring was improperly installed and had to be repaired. I have standard 36" high kitchen cabinets and hardwood floors, so the range should fit perfectly. Even so, the warming drawer below the oven just barely clears the floor when it is empty. With weight in the drawer it drags and scratches the floor.
Excerpt: This stove has a sleek, modern look. The grates cover the entire top, so large or small pots fit. It's easy to slide a pot to another burner if you need to rearrange. The burners light quickly from the spark. The convection oven is very large - both width and height. The ball-bearing shelves make pulling them out very easy. They're simple to remove for cleaning. Self-leaning is easy and effective. I've used the probe and it worked great - the roast cam out just right.
Excerpt: Overall, good product. Only drawbacks are the oven takes longer than desired to reach temperature and the design of the burners are difficult to light at times. Very sturdy product and good design.
Excerpt: I replaced all of my kitchen appliances. I did a lot of research on different makes and models, and I have been very happy with my decision to purchase this range. It is attractive and I am loving cooking with gas. I highly recommend.
Excerpt: I waited to write this review until I owned the range for over a year. My last range, a Dacor, wast a complete lemon. I love to cook. I did not feel I needed a Wolf or Viking as these were out of my price range anyway. I told the sales man I wanted something that had not had issues. He stated the had good luck with the electrolux people. I love this range. I use the warming oven to bake. The quick preheat feature is awesome. The range is everything it has promised.
Summary: Let's start with the good- the oven is perfect. Both ovens, in fact. This is the only dual oven, 30" range we could find with the ovens full width. The ones that are split side to side are useless on all levels. The glides are a real pleasure to use, but READ THE MANUAL!!! They must be removed before a self clean cycle or they will get gummed up. (We didn't do have that problem but heard from others that did). It holds its temperature well and evenly.
Excerpt: I absolutely love the range. I have had it for 4 months. I have had the opportunity to cook many a meal including the Thanksgiving turkey. I have used the stovetop, oven, and warming draw. All worked as advertised and clean up really easily. The only design flaw was the decision by Electrolux to move away from the Hyper extend oven racks to the standard slide out oven racks.
