Summary: When I entertain, people gather around my range. It's a beautiful unit, but more importantly, cooks food extremely well. The range produces very high heat, which is superb for locking in moisture and flavor. However, the heat can be toned down for more delicate fare by using the supplied burner plates. As for the oven, I most often use convection mode, setting the heat 25 degrees lower than directed and checking my food about 15 minutes earlier.
