Summary: My wife and I have been considering a dual-fuel range for years. Between the expense of the range and running a new gas line the cost was prohibitive until we found this range. The cook top and oven work beautifully! We love it! The only problems we have are minor. Installation was a bit tricky because you have to tuck a 220v electric cord and gas line into the bottom of the range when you slide it into place.
Summary: After putting up with the stove that came with our house for over 15 years we figured we had waited long enough and bought the BOSH HDS7052U Evolution 700. Ease of cleaning was mission one with us as the 1970's pea soup green :-[ stove we had was designed by men who obviously never had to clean one. It had more cracks, crevasse, holes and indentations than the Grand Canyon. A slick stainless steel top with sealed burners and an easy wipe back was a must.
Summary: I like the combination gas range/electric oven. It has 4 different size burners which is very efficient and the stainless is easy to clean. The grill topping the burners will also support my canning kettle during the season. Oven bakes bread and cookies....so far....evenly and haven't even used the convection feature. The next test will be how long it lasts....time will tell.
Summary: I've used both electric ranges and gas ranges. This dual fuel range has the best features of both gas and electric. I've never had a problem with this product and it's easy to use. In short, it's spectacular, and I would recommend this range to everyone.
