Summary: Although it came without instruction,(and me being " E " illiterate ), it was fairly easy to figure out. Once I got it functional, (joined skycaddie ), it performed beautifully. Good graphics, spot on for distance, bright screen, good battery life. I wish I did this years ago. I've only played a few rounds and feel it has saved me at least 3-5 strokes already. Can't really compare it with other products, its my first device of this nature. I like it.
Fine Product, good price and well worth purchasing

Summary: Product works as well as expected. Seems to be a quality product that was priced very well and does the job well. I would recommend this product to the casual golfer. Perhaps someone that golfs several times each week might want a larger screne and more bells and whistles but for my level of golf the product works just fine.
Summary: This is one of the best pieces of golf equipment that I've ever purchased. The SG3 is great with the exception of how often I have to change batteries. Thus, I'd recommend a later model that doesn't require alkaline batteries.
Summary: This unit is fairly user friendly. The gps is very accurate. I like that it will keep your score as you play and will tranfer info for stats to record progress. The only drawbacks are that it is not rechargeable, you can't keep score of more than one golfer, and you can't pick your own target.
Summary: I'm very happy with the unit. I think it's a great deal for the price. At my home club, there is one hole that does not generally get picked up by other GPS. It has helped my game since I'm new at the club. Also when I play tournaments at other course, it's invaluable. Only negative I have is the relatively short battery life. I'd recommend buying a rechargeable battery unit. Overall, great unit at a very attractive price.
Conclusion: I got this about a year ago and like it when it works. It seems to lose lock and I have to reset it often in treed areas and on cloudy days but when it works it is very accurate. It has some nice features like drive lengths and hazard locations but you have to subscribe to Sky Golf for a yearly fee. I've had some problems with downloads early on but nine lately. No color but at $99.98, it's more than worth it.
