Summary: I have talked with friends since getting the SkyCaddie. It requires a membership in a club to get updates (not for me), it doesn't have a rechargeable battery (have you seen the price of batteries?), two AA batteries won't make it through two rounds of golf(you're kidding me). I'll be returning the SkyCaddie for a full refund after the holidays.
Summary: Very disappointed.... The Sky Caddie is being returned. Runs on batteries. Batteries sent with it did not work at all. Purchased new batteries. Used it for 9 holes of golf. At the next golf day, the batteries were dead. Very frustrating indeed.
Summary: The screw is way too short! Did not attach. Dealer said it was because my screw hole is stripped. It is not stripped, as I still use the original to wall charge the Sky Caddie. So, if I want to get my money back I have to spend another $5 to send the cable back (so far $10 in shipping) to get $10 refund.
Summary: Purchased connector - screw was too short - only way to contact vendor is thru his website. Tried for weeks - he first asked for his order number (purchased thru Amazon, then he told me to return to Amazon - being very frustrated , I posted a negative comment. Here is his answer, in his own words QUOTE I am not Amazon. I sell items on Amazon using their system, including their email response system.
Summary: I have been on hold for them for over 45 minutes and had to hang up. My SG4 has been sent back twice and they still can't fix it. They neither support their products well or care about their customers. With so many other products on the market why waste your money.
Summary: We where never able to activate this unit and a call to Skycaddie's so called customer support was no help at all, they acted like it was a bother and we were told - "don't send it back to us!" However, Gurugolf responded with a quick and satisfactory return and refund. We will not hestitate to order from them again, just NOT A SKYCADDY.
