Summary: had one for 2 years and worked great for basic yardage. Pricey for yearly fees for basic yardage. It told me I needed to renew so I renewed but next time I played it told me again I needed to renew then shut down. Contacted customer service and that is where everything went south.
Summary: I upgraded my MacBook with Snow Leopard. Now I can't sync the caddie and so I can't access courses or upgrade software. SkyCaddie Support says they do not have a fix and are "working on it." After 3 months, there is still no fix.

Summary: Works good for a year. Then your $40 membership expires and the courses you have downloaded onto the unit disappears. You have to pay $40 per year just to keep the courses you already have working. One course I loaded by recording directly while playing, that one is still there.
Summary: Before you purchase this product you need to be sure you understand their licensing plan for course data. I have used an SG2 for two years and I was very pleased with its performance on the golf course.
