Summary: I've got a skycaddie, but I thought a rangefinder would be better on courses I've never played. I used the rangefinder for the first time during a scramble last week & all my partners laughed because I got a different number everytime I scanned. It was easy to use, but I couldn't trust the numbers. I would stick with the satellite.
Summary: No problem for the bigger targets, e.g., the people on the green. But sometimes it's hard to find the flag even with the flag mode on. I have to check a few times to make sure I get the right yardage.
Summary: but to say this has 'pin seeker' technology? Meh .. not so much. When playing courses that don't have reflectors I need to bounce the laser off the green at the base of the pin to get a reading. That's not what I would call 'pinseeker' technology.
