Excerpt: I have used this rangefinder for more than a year and it works great every time. It can pick the pin out of a background of trees, but it is sometime tricky to see the pin if you look for it from over 200 yards out.
Excerpt: I have tried everything I know. It reads the distance right on one hole and reads it wrong on the next hole. I have had others look at it. I don't understand the mode range. I am going to take it in to a Sporting Goods Establishment that sells Bushnell and have them take a look at it.
Excerpt: As good as advertised. First time rangefinder users may have a small learning curve in getting the pinseeker mode to lock in on the pin. Once you get the hange of it, it's fast and easy. The optics are clear and sharp but 4X magnification is a little weak for targets over 200 yards.
Summary: Price was good, but as a new product, I don't expect to put a supposed new battery in and it flash low battery at me. Now have to go and buy a new battery for this product before I can even use it.
Summary: No problem for the bigger targets, e.g., the people on the green. But sometimes it's hard to find the flag even with the flag mode on. I have to check a few times to make sure I get the right yardage.
Summary: but to say this has 'pin seeker' technology? Meh .. not so much. When playing courses that don't have reflectors I need to bounce the laser off the green at the base of the pin to get a reading. That's not what I would call 'pinseeker' technology.
Summary: I bought this for my husband who is pretty serious about his golf. He is delighted with it and says it's much better than the gps thingy that he had before which he had to use to download courses from the internet.
