I suppose golfers and hunters would like it as much as I do.

Summary: I use this thing to estimate jobs for long runs of wires. It works great- so far- Not a hunter, but if I was this would be neat to have for that purpose too. But I stand to save a lot of money by not ordering excess wire anymore for long runs that are hard to measure in other ways. It has that feature where it can find a pole (apparently a golf unit works for that too.
Summary: I spend a lot of time in the woods, and this rangefinder is the best on the market. With the angle compensation and the 1200 yards of distance combined with it's accuracy, it's the best. It's light, compact, and simple to use. A+ in my book!
Power pack of information, but confusing to rifle through.

Summary: Great product, many feature's. However! A lot to remember or carry into the field on your different rifle caliburs, and loads used. For practical hunting, seems to be a lot to have to scan through in adverse conditions in the fields with changing conditions, at the range or stationary known targets and ranges, Perfect!. Knowing your range and hold over is just as effective in conditions out in the field.
Summary: ditto what skytrooper173 wrote. I purchased this product for long range shooting and bow hunting. After researching product features and user reviews for several different range finders,I chose the Bushnell Legend 1200ARC over other brands mainly because of the Angle Range Compensation feature. I also found that it had a lot of other features(too many to list) that other range finders in the same price range do not have.
Summary: very great product! I love it! Bushnells arc rangefinder really makes a difference in where to aim, especially areas very you have very steep inclines, and declines. Wouldn't recommend it for people that hunt in mostly flat areas. Your aimming distance is only a couple of yards difference than your true distance.
