Summary: When our 1966 wall oven went and our cooktop from the same year was acting up, we threw in a stove vent. It was very affordable, installed well into the exisiting slot and works great. The original from 1966 really didn't work great anymore and sounded like an aircraft taking off. Our kitchen looks great with matching appliances, and you can have a conversation while cooking. Seems very well made.
Summary: We bought our Frigidaire side by side one year ago and love it. It is really easy to keep clean because the glass shelving is removable. It is very sturdy inside as well as out, unlike other models we have owned. The shelving is very durable and strong. The crisper doors are not flimsy. There is also an adjustable air guage for the crispers. The refrigerator has tons of room, but the freezer doesn't ahve quite as much. The ice maker works really well.
Pros: replacement filters are expensive, but last longer than average
Cons: replacement filters are expensive, but last longer than average
Summary: The customer service department is terrible. Very briefly, my wife and I purchased this unit mid-september. Upon delivery the stove was defective. The convention fan was terrible noisy. It took six weeks and serval phone calls to the customer service department to receive a new fan assembly. We were told that frigidaire only ships on certain days. As far as I am concerned they should have couriered the replacement part out the next day, not 6 weeks later.
