Summary: This is a very nice hood. It's not too loud, even on the highest speed. I have to use it ductless, so it's not going to perform as it would if it were connected to a duct. The installation in my kitchen was really difficult- mostly due to my cabinets (it took a couple of hours). However, a few shims fixed that problem. You will need a very long screwdriver.
Summary: First some background: After doing a significant amount of research, it seems that most hoods are a 1 dollar per CFM, regardless of other features. The CFM rating of over-the-range microwaves is a complete joke, as even a 100 CFM dedicated range hood will out-do a "300 CFM" microwave. The bigger brothers of this unit, the 330 and 430 have a lot of reported circuit board issues.
Summary: This was purchased after reading other reviews, and I am very satisfied with the performance and the style of the hood. The lighting is great, and the suction of both heat and odor is probably as good as it gets short of a commercial hood.
Very attractive item, love 4 halogen lights-installed a few months ago before reviewing

Summary: This was a decently priced nice upgrade for my kitchen to get rid of my UGLY paint coming off almond 80s hood, compared to the box stores. I am updating with some new appliances, paint, not ready for a kitchen remodel yet, but would like to have my old 80s kitchen more contemporary. There was a rattle in the fan housing but we managed to locate it and fix it with little effort, one of the vent screens needed a little bending tweak.
Summary: It lights up the stove really well and ventilates well. When on high it is fairly noisy as many reviews have stated. The medium and low setting are quiet. On low you can't really hear it and can conversate over the top of it easily. It looks good, the only thing I would mention is that it has a grill across the top for non-venting installation. It would have a better appearance if it was just smooth and for only vented installations.
