Summary: I purchased this same Broan under cabinet range hood over 20 years ago when remodelling my kitchen. I replaced it with a new one recently as the light switch broke. I figured it was time for a new one and replaced it with the same model to make sure I would have no problems with respect to installation. The new one is also clean. This model does get greasy over time since the underneath is open, but the closed models are much more expensive.

Summary: Functions decently and looks nice from the outside. Drawbacks are cheap plastic cover for light bulb (only encloses bulb 50%, I expect it to be covered in grease in a few months.) Also, the enclosure for the wiring isn't fully sealed, and is generally in travel path of stove exhaust, so this too will likely be grease-covered if I need to go in there for some reason. All this said, I only paid $75 overall which is pretty bottom-end price-wise for a range hood.
Summary: Perfect! I needed to replace and older ductless hood. I plan to remodel my kitchen in the future so did not want to spend a lot on hood that would be used for a brief time frame. This one is quite nice, sturdy and easy to install! Be sure to purchase the charcoal filters though, it does not come with one and if using as a ductless unit, you need the charcoal filter.
Summary: This works great and we've had it 2 years now. I like the variable fan controls and not too noise, but when you are frying, this really moves out the stink. The only drawback, which was our mistake, is we mounted it too low and I bump my head on the corner!!! I leave the night light on every nite. It has a brighter setting too. I didn't want the halogen. Love it!
