K40 RD850

The K40 RD850 is an advanced laser and radar detector that responds to the X-Band, K-Band, and Ka-Super Wideband (33.4-36.0 GHz) radar guns with 5-window front and rear Laser Sensor. It is designed by K40 Electronics using the Undetectable Remote Systems technology with Advanced Microwave Radar Receiver and Frequency Rejection Software for maximum range reception on all bands from as far as two miles (3.2km). The K40 RD850 provides distinct visual and audio alerts to warn user of the presence of X-Band, K-Band, and Ka-Super Wideband radar signals as well as IR laser signals. It is designed with state-of-the-art electronic system that makes this radar detector invisible to all current VG -2 radar detectors and giving out warnings if there is any VG-2 in use.

Features

The K40 RD850 features an integrated laser and radar detector that has indicator for responding to X-Band, K-Band, Ka-Super Wideband radar guns with 5-window front and rear Laser Sensor. It provides distinct visual, audio alerts and flashes a warning Band indicator to user of the presence of X-Band, K-Band or Ka-Super Wideband radar signals as well as IR laser signals such as Ultralyte laser (L2) and Pro L3 laser. Weak signals cause the audio and visual alarms to activate intermittently, but it gets stronger when you are closer to the radar gun where both alarms will increase its intensity (the four LED’s illuminate as the strength signal increases). Its unique 5-window front and rear Laser Sensor Design and Pulse Protection helps this detector pick up laser signals from the front and rear, even off axis signals. It is equipped with Frequency Rejection Software that reduces non police signals without sacrificing performance to true police radar. The RD850 is fitted with City/Highway modes function to help reduce X-band false alarm while driving in the city and also an Auto Mute feature which produced an audibly alert for several seconds and then switch to a quieter clicking sound, before automatically silence the alert, providing only visual warnings for the duration of the signal. In addition to its Auto Mute, it also has Easy Mute mode that can completely mute an active radar warning at any time with a single press of any of the three buttons on the remote control. It also has an adjustable Display Brightness setting, 4 Segment LED Display and a Power Volume button control. The device is also designed with an advanced system that makes it undetectable to all current VG -2 detector and giving out warnings with brief audible and visual alert if there is any VG-2 in use. The device is fitted with Dim button mode which controls brightness of all lights for easy viewing during night driving, a power jack for connecting to any 13.8 VDC negative ground system and a Filter button for reducing unwanted radar signals enabling user to concentrate on the real threats or signals. The K40 RD850 comes with a remote control, windshield, dashboard or visor mounting with spring-clip visor mount bracket, Straight Power Cord with cigarette light cord adaptor plus the Initial wake-up sequence function that enables the system to be on operational mode once the ignition of the vehicle is on. The K40 RD850 measures in at 1 pound (0.5kg) in weights.
