Summary: This is the best Yu-Gi-Oh game even though it is based off of the much worse GX series (I refuse to believe that is Yu-Gi-Oh). I loved the first series of Yu-Gi-Oh but all of the games for the GBA all had horrible graphics and no challenge, no ending. But this game added a bunch of new challenges, a story line, better card packs, and extra duelists with varying degree of strength.
Summary: This game has good and bad. Lets start with the good. This game lasts forever, it will take a week just to get past the first part. The card packs rock. On every yu-gi-oh game I have played the packs suck. if you click a fire attribute pack, you get a bunch of other monsters and a few fire monsters. not this. when they say fire or water or air or whatever, they mean it. The starter deck is okay, i just wish they would let you chose which attribute you use for your deck.
Summary: To start off, let me begin by stating that I am 32 years old, and I still love playing this game. I believe this particular game was put together very well. My only gripe matches another reviewers in the lack of online play. I was glad to see that problem corrected in "GX 2". I've heard some complain of the load times. I don't really see where the problem is concerning that; the "load times" are only before and between duels, not during them.
Summary: Now, I was not into Yu-gi-Oh until my student starting teaching and telling me about this card game. So after hearing his stories over and over, it peaked my interest. Once you understand about how it works, the world just opens up! I have been playing this game for the past two months! I can't stop! There are so many cards and combinations that it really keep you into the game and wanting to build better and better decks!
Summary: cons - you get access to none of the good cards. you more or less get all junk cards. - the game uses its own bann list. not just an out dated one form real life but its own list. lots of banned cards like dark hole, tribe infecting virus, cyber jar. you can use only 1 reflect bounder and can use 3 of a spell card that i forgot the name of that remove your face down from play and any copies in either players deck. all in all it uses cards that eitehr a.
Summary: If you like yu-gi-oh then there is no way you won't love this game. Thousands of cards to collect, hundreds of people to duel, it is great. I was actually worried that the "classroom" part would be boring, but it is very brief and meant to only act as a tutorial for beginners. I also have a second PSP and duel wirelessly against people constantly. I actually bought a second PSP and a second copy of this game, it's that good!
