Excerpt: This title was a launch title for the PSP console and there were many purchases worldwide. This football simulation allowed players to take control of many internation and club teams such as scotland, england, manchester united and rangers fc. The gameplay is slick and fast paced, to master the game timing is essential. The game has many cups and challenges for which the player can battle their way through.
Pros: good length, easy learning curve, lots of teams
Summary: I have to say, this game is not what I expected. I have to say the graphics are really good and so is the gameplay but some of the obvious players aren't even in the team. To say the PSP and World Tour Soccer are new products, the players should be new but there are still old players in teams and some players are missing. I don't think you should buy this.
Excerpt: If only it were a free kick... Simple is good. Everyone agrees, from Cro-Magnons to our elected officials, that simple proves to be an effective bone to wield in getting what you want, regardless of whether or not that 's beneficial to anyone. When it comes to video games, having only one title in a genre makes for a much simpler decision than having to choose between three or four, as is usually the case with sports games.
Excerpt: If you're in the market for a PSP soccer game this season you basically have only one decision to make: SCEE's World Tour Soccer or EA Canada's FIFA Soccer. If we were talking about those games' PlayStation 2 counterparts, the choice would seem an obvious one, but the PSP is an entirely different playing field. We're pleased to report that World Tour Soccer has adapted to the PSP extremely well.
Excerpt: This game cannot be compared to the likes of fifa and pro evo. It has a lack of graphics, gameplay and sound. Once you get the game it is quite addictive but after that it just becomes rather annoying and you wished that you had bought another game. There is not many things to do on it, once you have won all the cups it just gets a little boring. It is ok for a week or so but i wouldnt play on it for much more than that.
Summary: With FIFA Soccer being available on PSP there's absolutely no reason you should go near this game, save yourself money and headaches. Too fast paced arcade-style soccer gaming, little chance for creative and stylish playing, even if the game claims so, most, if not all, club teams locked at the beginning which you can only unlock by collecting tokens during tournaments, you have little to choose from in the beginning.
Excerpt: World tour soccer is one of the first games to be released on this console and it is lucky that it was. If it had been released with the likes of the Fifa series and pro Evolution series I don't believe that many sales would have been made. Although the game play is quite good and the movement of the game is very smooth, there have been plenty better football games. When I say there is not enough to do what I mean is that you are only given the choice to do 4 things.
Pros: Good gameplay, quick loading, unlocking system
