LOVE IT!!!

PersonReviewing, Amazon
20 November 2011
  • Summary: I looked and looked for a poker game that had a feature where I could set up and play my favorite poker games without having to go through a story mode or career mode. This game has a career mode which I have not used. The reason I purchased this game was the quickplay option which allows me to set up my favorite games seven-card stud, pot limit omaha high, and no limit holdem. The AI's can be set to All Pros if you want a more challenging game. It is very fun.

Surprisingly Well Done All-Round Poker Title

Dmitry Kristal, Amazon
27 November 2007
  • Summary: I had no idea what I was getting when I bought this, but I really wanted to have a poker game for my newly-bought PSP. WSOP didn't get a high rating for other platforms such as PS2 and PC, so I didn't expect much, but I was surprised how glued I was to this game. Graphics/Sound: Commentary by ESPN's Lon McEachern himself as well as another poker star.

Best one on the market for PSP by far

S. Gunnell "SCOTTGUNN", Amazon
27 November 2007
  • Summary: After playing through the other PSP poker games, I was pretty bored with the lack of imagination and seemingly quickly thrown together software. Games like Stacked had so much potential to really be great, they just didn't go the extra few feet to make it so. Although this one also could have used some parts already integrated in the game to really make it more fun (the custom poker basement should have been an interactive part of the game, playing poker I mean, not just...

Very good game. Better than the first WSOP version.

Nick, Amazon
27 November 2007
  • Summary: The graphics in this WSOP version are great, compared with the first, which were sketchy and weird. I have played this game a few hours and its very entertaining, and challenging. The AI is smart enough for most people, maybe not for a few "geniuses" in the reviews who beat every tournament in a few hours. If they were that smart, I would be playing live tournaments getting rich, just a little thought.

  • Summary: It's easy to play and I passed several hours losing (and some winning). On the PSP it was just as good as the PC version I have.

Finally, a poker game that doesn't suck.

The Dude "Mark", Amazon
27 November 2007
  • Summary: No silly "bluff" and "tell" games, no freezing in the middle of tournaments, and no unnessecary stuff on the side. just good poker, with realistic people playing along side of you. With this game, you start off as a protege of Chris "jesus" fergeson, and you follow his advice through tournaments and WSOP invitational events, as well as heads-up play verses some of the best (and jennifer tilly, i guess, as well).

  • Summary: I purchased this game for my roommate and he really enjoys playing it. It was cheap and keeps him occupied and quiet for a while.
